On the sort of rr where you have to enter a gear ratio for it to correctly display the rpm on the graph.

If they get it wrong then calculating the ATF power figure must also be wrong?

depends if the you're inputing the info purely for reference or if it's being used to calculate losses. What type of dyno are we talking about?

No. There is no coast down on the dd. The only figure the tacho changes is the torque plotted. Hp is correct regardless. You can have a tacho setup for 4th and do a pull in third and the power will be near identicle but the plotted torque looks much higher
