where can i get my car rolling roaded in the york/hull area ?

id take both figures with a pinch of salt as theyre not the most accurate.. but then, what rolling road is accurate.

docaster is not too far what makes you say they are not that accurate

well no rolling roads gonna be extremely accurate unless you takeyour engine out and get it properly dynod
too many variable son a rolling road, loss of power through gearbox and tyre grip etc..
they will give you an @ the wheels figure and then from this guesstimate your flywheel figure.. (its fly figures that magazines and manufacturers quote so you wont be able to ompare to them really as the rolling road just guestimates them)

top gear is ok but a bit backwater, just a shed in the middle of knowwhere with a big angry dog chained up also.

plus on the way in ya tyres get coated in nice sloppy mud.. great for traction on the rollers.

not to mention the 50 point turn needed to get in

i take it you have both been to top gear is it worth a trip? how much did it cost

ive had 3 power runs there.. think they were 25 quid but thats part of a rolling road day.. think its more like 50 for a private power run.. expensive. but they need to recoup the £110 000 rolling road costs somehow.

not sure.. the times i went they were organised by club area reps as a club rolling road day.

have to get like 20 cars signed up and get it for 20 quid each.

ive been for a FastFord Magazine shoot i was on the front cover lol
it ws a top day out and good fun but having been elsewhere since its not that pro really and they seem bored of doing it TBH

my old car wheelspun on the rollers when the nitrous kicked in.. lol

and the famous nana hybrid tilted on the exhaust and nearly flew off the rollers.
