Looking for tips from anyone thats fitted one.
How did you go about cutting the hole ?

I didn’t cut a big hole instead a series of 22mm iirc holes.
Get yourself a step drill for this.
@NorthloopCup did his like this so I copied it 😂

I masked the roof off and positioned the scoop as central as possible measuring about 20 times but also standing back and looking at it.
Mark the position out on the masking tape.
To do the fixing holes I ground some old M6 bolts to a point screwed them to the scoop and then marked where they are.

I will try and sort some of my pictures out tomorrow as they are on the computer these are Northloopcups

Got it fitted this evening. Just used a 100mm hole saw in the end. Went for a test drive and it works very well.

Alright gents, by any chance do you remember the measurement you used to mount this teardrop scoop?

Bumping this thread.

Which scoop is this?

I have found a TRS teardrop on demontweeks which looks similar.

Alternatively, anyone know anyone who is selling one?

That my friend is the clio mk3 cup racer roof scoop. Mine was a genuine one, but I’m pretty sure cm composites copied them - so I imagine they’ve been copied by the other companies now.

Great bit of kit and they work amazingly well.

Have managed to source a mk3 cup racer scoop. Very excite.

Hopefully it turns up in time for track day at Blyton on Sunday as it’s looking like it’s going to be a scorcher.

I don’t suppose any of you know how far you set it back from the top of windscreen so I can get a rough location for the cut out do you?

What a great title for a thread.

Love a roof Scoop or Flap.

So as i mentioned earlier, I managed to get my hands on a mk3 cup racer scoop.

Unfortunately it was Red so I put my skills to the test.

With track day tomorrow (Sunday) at Blyton and the scoop not turning up until a Friday night it had only given me today to get it sprayed, wrapped and fitted.

Managed to get it all sorted though and pretty happy with the results.

All loaded up ready for an early set off in the morning to Blyton for the day.

It’s going to be a hot one!
