Rooted Desire-Network Unlocked?

I've rooted my old desire and I'm just about to sell it.
It's running CM7 and definitely rooted - Does this mean it's network unlocked??

nope, mines on CM7 but still locked to Orange

I did look into it a while back, but never did anything about it. Think Orange will give you an unlock code once you're out of your contract, but you might have to hastle them quite a lot

Have a look on the xda developers forum under HTC desire development, you can create a gold card that'll let you unlock it, free, little bit tedious but easy enough mate

Strange, I rooted my S2 and it is now unlocked, was on Orange.
