Rough looking headlight correction

  Blk/Gold 182 FF
Hey,

Has anyone used the guide on here to use sand paper and scratch X to bring the headlights back to normal and remove that horrid dull look from the top of the headlight?

Im a bit worried about the scratches not going away lol

also, do you have to use a drill buffer or does using good ole' elbow grease do?

Using sandpaper on glass goes against my instincts too, but I've read enough successful threads to know it's ok. Just follow the guide and you'll be fine. A rotary / drill attachment would be easier but old fashioned elbow grease would do the same job, it would just take longer.

Machine polisher or drill attachment is preferred not the end of the world if you haven't got one though just harder work.

Use a really fine wet and dry paper too.

The lenses are plastic.
