Rs 200 gearbox question

  RS Clio 200 Full Fat
Hi
I own a RS 200 2010 full fat clio with 20k on the clock.
I've read about all the issues with the gearboxes so I'm beginning to panic.
My gear changes are slightly cranky/stiff. All go into gear fine but they don't feel as slick as they used to.
its due a second service in 2,000 miles.
is this a sign of the box failing? If so can I rescue it by getting it in early so to speak?
or because the service is due soon it may be just a gearbox fluid change that is needed?

appreciate any advice
many thanks

Could be worth trying some new oil but I wouldn't have thought they would do that as part or a service unless you ask them to.

But after only 20k the box oil shouldnt need touching

Thanks chaps and RS 1an. How much roughly is a gearbox oil change?
