Loads better, need to get rid of those blue lights at the front though (in the old pic)

looks nice mate got mine not long ago as well makes such an improvment to the cars look :D

Ozzy do you have a guide to fitting it?

pop out the two black screw looking clips on the extreme left and right of the old grille (under the bonnet). then u wana get ur hands behind the top centre (behind the renault badge) and unclip the two clips there (might be handy to use a flat head screwdriver).

then get both hands right down on either the left or right side of the existing grille and unclip the three clips that are there - ensuring u push the old grille from the front toward the car so it eases in. do the same on the other side.

then unclip the two either side of the centre renault badge.

new one should clip in nicely, with a bit of pressure.

i did it well easyer than that altho i was doing another job which involved taking the front bumper off so i just took it off ha ha ha

Fitted mine today, What an improvement.

Only thing is, I came in from fitting it and started to order coilovers and some alloys.

Mustn't do that, I could have the real thing in a few months!

Mine took 2 minutes literally, Had it weeks then had ago read on here to pus each right and lift side in carefully towards the engine then unclip the two or three clips cant remember exactly above the renault badge and it came straight off gave it a good wipe and clicked new on back in. was probebly quicker doing it than writing this message. lol

Paid £50.28 for mine about 6 weeks ago from Renault, had to give them a part number and used someone's 172 reg off here

Why do you need to give them a Reg number?

Im going to get one for my car, but wonder if they wont sell it to me if I dont have a 172/182 :S

lmfao yeh course they will, just go to a stealers, note down a reg. of a 172/182 they got on their forecourt n go n order it in thier parts department, might be lucky they sometimes have them in stock

Yeah I was told that at first...They said "we will give u the part for your exact model"

So I went to another dealer and just to be on the safe side gave a 172 plate, said it was my old mans lmao, no problems that time

As long as you have the part number they shouldn't refuse to sell you anything seeing as you will be bringing them custom but renault stealers are tossers 95% of the time!
