Technically am i voiding my insurance with a new grill?? This may seem like a silly question but its not standard factory fit anymore is it.... And we all know how insurance providers love to get out of claims.

Technically yes it's void. Would I declare one? No*. It's unlikely to be spotted/cared about.

*Note: I am not advising you do this. It's my opinion.

It is something you should declare yes, a decent specialist insurer would not charge for adding this.

in fairness yes sometimes insurance can be void however i know on 2 different occasions that some didnt declare alloys, and the other a full body kit, and the insurer wouldnt pay out until they paid the additional charge for the items, there insurance was not voided either time they just had to pay the charge...

i would like to add that this is just in past experience and i would not bet on the same for your company...
