Rs Tuner fault finder.

I've got and Rs tuner with 1.8 firmware would this work on a ph2 rs megane as a fault code reader like it does on the clio?

I believe you can get an unlock code from Henk which allows it to work on any vehicle with an OBDII port

So I would need to get another unlock code after already buying one for my 172? Also it through up a couple of faults these were the knock sensor and lambda sensor does that mean these need replaced?

Iiirc you can read codes on any car, just can't map or maybe even erase faults without unlock .
Could be completely wrong though

That was my understanding of it too

I've just "got around" to installing mine and reading the manual this weekend - only took me about 3 years haha

Exactly - EPIC FAIL on that front :clown:

Original "plan" was to get another rolling road when the car was completely standard as 183.6bhp on a 172 was a little overwhelming lol

Then stick all my mods on before the RS Tuner and see what the difference would be.
Other mods are
Maxogen & CAF
Matched inlets & widened throttle body (another mod to be fitted)
KTR supersport recessed exhaust
KTR sport cat

Little gremlins, french electrics and other fund-munching things kept me back

Went to a few rolling road days but the car always threw a hissyfit that morning lol so was scared to stick her on haha
The exhaust HAD to be fitted as the standard one fell off!

Mine recently cost me the best part of £800 thanks to it's gearbox going bang at 70mph.

What do you mean by widened TB, have you polished the lip on the inside or is it something else?

I bought one off someone on here - just need to get the little plastic cover back on as the band that held it on was removed. The TB was dismantled to widen both ends if you get me

Do you mean the inner circumference is wider, hence a bigger butterfly valve?
