Rs tuner mpg

  Iceburg 172FF
Im also interested to know this. Another question I have been thinking about for a while is the whole emissions and decat thing. Would there be any way of getting a map that alters fueling such as to decrease the emissions a significant amount for an MOT?

I have not yet uploaded any map form Fastship but I currently have a map from another tuner and she consumes a bit less fuel when driven normal - softly, of course if you like to feel the extra power then she will eat more but not specially due to the map.

One advantage is that if the performance map for some readon causes you not to pass emissions you can always set it back to standar:)

I guess you are talking about the RS-tuner kit from fastchip.

City driving it's about 1:10 (Litre:km) you do the math. Used to be a tad more economic, but when you compare to other hot hatches it's still running cheap.

Highway driving (holland-germany-austria) complete was 1:14 and that was not hanging about. germany the average speed was about 100mph and playing audi's / volkswagens / bmw's.

Ow am running an adjusted ron98 map which is a bit less economic then the more generic map.

To measure you should be driving with both maps with CC which I do not have and identical conditions. I guess there can be intresting results, since the engine is more efficient.

I'm getting about 35mpg since the RS Tuner Map. That's driving the car everyday to and from work in heavy traffic and giving it a good thrashing at the weekend!
