RS Tuner question

Been reading up on this and maybe possibly pur-chasing it in a month or so!! i have a laptop here with XP on it, but sometimes can be slow and delayed but not all the time! just wandering if this would affect maybe writing the Map onto the clio, what if the laptop did freeze up midway through is there a 'Emergancy STOP button' lol??

or maybe a new laptop?

would not risk it on a dodgy laptop, you could do some damage to your ecu if the map does'nt write correctly.
