Rs200 haven’t started in two weeks was perfect now misfiring and stinks of fuel

Hi I wonder if someone could help,
I’ve got a mk3 rs200 2.0 n/a was running perfectly , haven’t driven it for two weeks as recovering from an op, I’ve gone back out to it started it now it’s misfiring and stinks of fuel , I’ve recently changed the plugs due to having bonnet vents and it’s causing issues with the plugs , I know we’ve had a massive storm recently but surely it hasn’t damaged the plugs already 🙃can anyone give me some suggestions

It’s more likely to have caused issues with a coil as opposed to plug.
