rt air filter

Kindda new to the reno scene. Just wondering has anyone fitted a 16v bonnet to a reno 1.4 rt? If so how do you get the air filter out of the way? what did you change it with? as I want to keep the run off for the rain as water is the last thing I need all over the engine bay?

The amount of water you would get through it would be neglable. ie the amount of water will not cause a problem on your engine. Its only water when all said and done, and its not really near anything electrical.

Go for it mate, the air filter doesnt get in the way, and the water doesnt cause TOO much of a problem. Ive done it to mine, and am well pleased with it!

Same here, had mine on a couple of years, never had any problem with the water and the filter sits nicely underneath so cold air can get to it and hot air out the way of it!

When i had my RT i put a 16v bonnet on it and used a k&n filter and it was fine... just what he said ...
