i have a rt and i have a k&n induction kit for it.do the induction kits make any difference on my engine?iv had the airfilter on for a year now and its started to make a really anoying hissing noise when i put my foot down.I know that its sucking in the air which is probably the noise im hearing but its a f**king loud hissing noise that it never use to do.what could it be?and will putting my airbox back on make my car slower?(im also taking it off becuase my car tanks to much petrol)

doubt the induction filters gained you anything in fact youve probably lost a bit.the filter sits on top of the throttle housing and sucks in all the hot air from under the bonnet.have you tried giving it a good clean and routing some cold air feed pipes to the filter from the front of the car.

try cleaning it and put some big cold air feeds to it like like i have!!
Change the oil more often it helps too!
And check breather valve thing is clean!
