Rubber headlight starter covers on a 1*2

  None
Just taken on the needlessly big job of changing the bulbs (and so removing the bumper!) on my 172 - put everything back together and realised I hadn't put those 2 rubber covers on the back of the headlight fitting - stupid question maybe, but does anyone know if they go inside the main cutout bit, over over the top of it (and so stretched)? Can't see to work it out! Plus are there any tips on how to get these buggers on?

Basically do they go inside the fitting, of do you stretch them over the raised section like they are for the dipped-beam lights?

Pretty sure they stretch over the housing m8, bit ov a bugger to get on when headlights are fitted though, i could be wrong but thats how mine are fitted
