Having purchased my clio in october 2003 from Renault in Leeds it hasnt realy had any problems. however it has been in 5 TIMES now for the same problem. the front passenger seat keeps on getting stuck and wont flip forward! each time they have replaced the cable and so on and so on.....still broken. they recon they know what it is now and there have been alot of cars with the same problem, shame it has taken the lamos 5 etempts to realise what the problem might be. it is going back in a week to have the problem sorted, though i am not holding my breath, it will be 6th time lucky?

going where mate? must have missed your post.

what you getting?

I find problems are better diagnosed from peoples replies on this forum.

My passenger seat had a similar problem, it was a pin that had fallen out - this was pointed out to me by a fellow forum member.

The seat now functions correctly, no visit to Renault required :D

I wouldnt expect too much from a Renault dealer, it took them two test drives to try and fix a squeaky seat and they still didnt fix it.

The funny thing is they noticed a knocking which I had bairly noticed, thought it was something in the car and they said it was the exhaust!! They fixed it without question which impressed me a tiny bit!!
