Ruined my plugs

Set off for work today and noticed the cup running a bit rough and it was steadily getting worse like it was running on 3 cylinders. Finally got it home tonight and got me mate to have a look at it and 2 of the plugs were burnt out. Now i washed and degreased the engine last night and wondering if some water has got in there somehow or is that just a conicidence?

And will the Engine light go off soon now its fixed?

most likely the plugs were just old. No-one changes them frequently enough

no i just rinsed it with the hose then degreased then rinsed again. Iv never had a problem with any of my other cars doing it.

Id just change all plugs for OEM NGK ones, should sort it!

Halfrauds didnt have any so had to get rubbish champon ones! will do for now though

Water and engines don't mix!

Change the plugs for the NGK ones ASAP as these engines don't like the wrong brand in them for long.

What light is lit on the dash?

Ok, disconnect your battery for about 30 mins, then see if light is still on!

reset the ecu and it may go off or just wait sometimes takes a while

how often do you recommend changing them danny?

I do mine at 36K.
