RTTS!!!!
i remember that, went about 2-3yrs ago.........awful event! hahaha.........was more fun to chill in the town and drink at pubs and eat lasagne!
Took us 18hrs to get from bristol to where is it, new quey, torquey? dunno.......
ANyway, in a MK1 golf GTI and my clio.........his GTi blew a head gasket, had to fully strip the engine to check in a truck layby, i had to shoot back to the nearest town to get a gasket, took 6 hrs of fixin and twiddling and eating burgers. GOt on our way, oilpump seized about 400 yrds down the Mway at NIGHT!.......and silly mate we handed the pump to threw it in the bushes, so we had to bodge on a MK2 item........which held......then through some forest fog was so bad we had to drive at 20mph for 4hrs and i almost hit a truck........eventful trip, the event was boring in comparison.
Bar a kid throwing waterballoons at the cars, he got run over and his foot ended up nxt to his head which freaked him out......silly kid.......thats what you get, still he got to go in a helicopter! haha
soz for the rant.
I was at RTTS this year and last year and the year before.....probably coz i live in sunny Cornwall!!!

and the waterballons are a local bit of well needed revenge fun coz its hell to live there when you cant even get in to your local during this event....soaking the emits is all in good spirits!!
In and around Newquay there are some fantastic places to go, once the summer madness calms down....
lol..........well revenge was a ford escort driver mowing the kid down......his scream when he saw his foot was so blood curdling.
They had water pistons on me too, with my sunroof open, so we got out and hosed the kids in sunblock........hahaha........its is a fun time.
still, not much to do at the actual event.
we went painballing down south a bit.......freaking ace!
Run 2 the Sun! 45 mins away from me Newquay! Water fight heaven and for practice shoot the train driver doing emit runs!
One year someone had a watergun from a firetruck mounted on their van with pump etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome bit of kit!

LOL!!! you gotta go prepared to get wet and take a water gun with you to hit back!!! My kid has two rules to stick to...never soak any one who doesnt have a water gun to hit back, and stay out of the road.....he gets just as wet believe me!!!
My hubby once took a soft top with the roof down....
well he was asking for it!!!! We are quite nice really, down here and we love to see all the cars, a few of the locals have been trying to get a place sorted with the police to go for meets, rather than always trying to dodge em....no luck yet, but we keep on pushing for it

Ive seen a bloke and a girl driving it and they must have seen my ClioSport sticker coz I see it just about every day!!I cant find it on Auto Trader web site but its in this weeks mag for £6500
