Running temp

How long should it take for the temp to get half way up? I work 7 miles away. 3 miles 30-40mph and rest is motorway. It's only getting to temp when I get to work which I find odd.

Any ideas? Seems a long time that's all. I won't step on the loud pedal til it's up at temp so couldn't play with another clio this morning :dapprove:

i'm not sure if this means there is a problem with your car but i think my cars temp gets halfway round long before yours.

could be a faulty temp gauge. i believe its a common problem with clios.

Coolant temp? Max 3 miles at 40-60 for me
