running water

Hi there has anyone experianced the sound of triclking water from the passanger side when driving their clio. The car is new and this only happens if its been raining or is raining.

I am guessing it is just water running of the car somewher but its quite loud.

Its a kinda sloshing/trickling noise. Just getting on my tits a bit.

The car is a 1.5dci dynamique

heh, i always wonder what that noise is on my dynamique. i think badinvincible is right, mine sounds like trickling/bubbling water coming from the sunroof area, kinda sounds cool

Does it only do it when the windscreen wipers are on?

LOL, yes, look outside. Is it raining? No, in all seriousness, when I had my 1.2 Dynamique I got the runny water thing and it was the water sloshing about the sunroof recesses.

did u know running water can also kill a Vampire, thats a fact. Not many people know that...

I have it as well I think its just the water draining out the car from all the areas it manages to get to.

Glad to see some more dci owners though.

this can be fixed if the vehicle is in warranty still!!!

there is a mod which contains a new sunroof glass - it can be done on the manual or elec sunroofs

Thanks for all the responces guys. What do I say to the dealer to get them to fix this? So they dont just piss them self and say was it raining????!!!!

Its defo the sunroof, as i used to wonder what the hell it was. I thought i was going to find a bloody great puddle in the car somewhere. But it is just where the water sits in the sunroof edge. I hate that bit, its such a b**ch to get all the water out when you wash the car!
