Whats the average cost to get rid of rust spots on arches etc?

ive got 3 main patches of rust atm. Thinking of investing some money towards getting them sorted.

The only way to completely remove rust is to cut it out, weld in new panels and fill.

For a pro to sort it you are looking at £200 or so, do it yourself and get a 98% finish

Rust is just a chemical reaction. Aluminium oxide and/or electrolysis will sort rust out.

That won't remove the rust, after a period of time it will eventually re-appear.

Mild steel does not produce a oxide layer to protect itself againsts further corrosion.

The arches rust from the inside outwards, not the other way round, you'd need to cut it out as Chris said.
If you rub it down, treat it, then fill it it will come back in a few years time.
