  Turbos.
Wow, now that is a modification! I think just going RWD would have been enough without the complication of going mid-engined though.

Drifffto!

the same reason you dont see many mr2's drifting, the idea of drifting is to have as little weight over the rear wheels, sticking an engine back there makes them to hard to control!!

surely leaving the engine up front would of been easier lol

Or NSX's. I did watch some dude drift one in a video though and he was awesome, but it must have took some massive skill and effort.

didnt say it was impossible to drift with an engine in the boot, its just harder and takes alot of skill to do it, gaz the nsx u saw was prob driven by kiki nana, he is the only person i have ever seen drift one propperly...

rear mounted engines or mid mount that is close to the rear wheels are hard to drift as they carry so much inertia in to the corners, when you come back for a transition you get alot of weight swing back behind you and it snaps, like in that vid loony posted watch the driver transition he does it slowly, compare that to a s body or ae86 and they propper chuck it side to side fast...

  Turbos.
The Porsche drifting is impressive, but that is a show car. It is telling that in Formula D the Hankook team use an S15 (IIRC). We all know Turkish was just messing though...

Kiki's NSX is still for sale, i want it so bad! He went on the forum recently, he's after a Type S.

An amazing bit of engineering there; but it seems to be a fairly pointless exercise without more engine work when you are spending that kind of money.
