S-SPEC I.K.

Ordered my s-spec induction kit yesterday:). Should get it by wednesday, but should i get the k-tec relocation kit to suit. Does it make a noticeable difference? Cheers Chris.

Well bambam has the K-tec relocation pipe + sspec and a CAT back K-tec exhaust (rolling roaded with std PiperX filter on relocation pipe @ mailto:72.2bhp@wheels">72.2bhp@wheels)

I have the s-spec without the relocation pipe + Powerflow Back box (rolling roaded with std PiperX filter@ mailto:72.2bhp@wheels">72.2bhp@wheels on the same rolling road!!!)

BTW, i had a better tourqe curve!!!!!!

I was reading somewhere that the 1.2 engines respond well to tuning. The std. injection system is a good one.

Have you considered the sports manifold with a decat pipe - I reckon that should release quite a few more.

With head/cams and ported inlet manifold and modified body it would be interesting to see what sort of figures this would get into.

What are the estimated flywheel figures for your cars?

We dont actually know the flywheel figures, cos the RR couldnt give them!

It would be interesting to see what power you can get out of a 1.2, but at the end of the day it is ONLY a 1.2 NOT (unfortunatley) a 172!!!!!

the relocation pipe with the s-spec filter looks stunning, its worth the money just for the looks

also, the s-spec sounds like a little turbo through the revs, as it as a lovely clean whistle noise to it
