Sachs on ebay

Been up for a few days and the price has dropped as it was around the £550 mark

It's a good deal when you look at the cost of getting them rebuilt!

BG are refurbishing mine as we speak and the bill currently stands at £1040.

Wow that's some price to refurb!

I'd rather just buy some AST's.

I need to go through it again with my spare set

I have thought about AST's but darling with AST Uk seems to be a nightmare

Just like mine mate so know your pain, Are you getting the R1 scrapers fitted ?

I was tempted but BG wanted another £160. Maybe next time lol!

I hadn't really considered swapping the Sachs for something else to be honest. The standard setup (when working properly) is near to perfect in my eyes.

To be fair, a refurb starts from around £400, it's when you started adding the 'optional extras' that things start to get silly. I also needed two new shafts which were £120 each!

@dablk

I have two sets of dampers and a spare N/S/F damper, I was tempted to buy this to make "Three" sets (two used & one new) but thats just being silly.

Not really looked at the advert to be honest, Just the price

Noticed that the postage has went back down to £25.00

O/S/F would be the drivers side and it has the correct part number for this (514 733)
N/S/F is the passenger side and the part number for that ends in 514 734

So why is the canister on the right of the shock?...NSF is what the pics are saying to me.

Ads now been amended to nsf.
Assume the parts numbers are based on a french orientation Marc.

Doubt that the part numbers are based on a French part number.
I think the person writing the ad has bought the shock for cheap (£150) and has got some info from the forums and is trying to make a few quid.

The add has changed so many times and the description has been copied from cliotrophy and here regarding the price of the R1 dampers along with other info

I have no pictures of mine as I have the BG Sachs stickers on which don't come with the Renault OE part numbers.

This is the letter that Renault sent me and the stickers also so only going with what it says
