safe mode

my car has apparently gone into "safe mode"

it limits the damage that could be caused to the engine.
my revs are restricted to about 4k and top speed about 70,
apparently its common on most cars with ecus?

does any one no more about this?

Yep common problem the car goes to a safe operating mode with less risk need to go to a dealership etc to see what the problem is.

same here, mine topped out at 30. The lowest point of my driving career was getting overtaken by a daewoo:evil: .
