any1 know if there is a guide anyway looked but cant find nothing if not any1 fitted them, how long it take and i take it i have to drain fluids (which ones lol)

What i did when i fitted mine was clamped of the originals, unclipped them and put the new samco hoses on, lost a tiny amount of water but just topped it back up and worked the air out of the water system, took 30 mins max

to late for that took everything off drained the system and will fit new kit tomorrow, how do i go about filling the cooling system back up. Never done it before

fill it up, theres a bleed screw on the side of the thermostat housing.
the coolant level will drop keep topping it up untill you get clear water and no air out of the bleed screw.

do it up, keep check on coolant and run it up.

whats all this talk about d grade coolant is that right should i just get if from renault. Do the samco kits need to have a clip on the end like the old ones they havent supplied nothing so i guess i will have to buy some jubile clips

i tend to just use the spring clips i havnt had a problem.
but yeah jubilee clips look nice.

tbh trying to find renault type d stuff is a bit anal, any antifreeze will be ok just dont get the red 5 year stuff as it stains the bottle.

if you do want gen stuff gsf chadwell heath sell it in 5l bottles

no, but you need it out the way to change the pipes

Feck, fitted the maxogen today and it WAS a bugger to get in!
And it will probably be another baxtard to get out again - oh well more work to do

I would recommend it, yes.

I would highly recommend using jubilee clips for these hoses, the standard ones are a right bugger to get off!
