Samsung 35K 85" UHD TV

I got to see one of these playing when I was in London yesterday.

It was quite simply amazing! Quality was beyond anything I could imagine. Looked like you could just step right in to the picture.

Interestingly, I read that HDMI is only fast enough to transmit 4K (just over at least) at 24fps. So it means for 3D 4K signals, you're s**t out of luck if you buy anything currently on the market.

Not to mention wanting to run games at 60fps like you can currently do on 1080p (where the console/panel allows).

I'd say rather pending, until glasses-free 3D sets come out at a decent price!

I've seen a glasses-free 3D set in action, and it was f**king terrible. Anyone waiting for that had better hope the technology improves.

Personally I'm a lover of active shutter 3D in the home, but it's dependent on the type and quality of the material.
