Morning All,

Right details for the south east convoy to Hayling Island below :) I'm going with the lakeside/dartford theme again as that always seems to work well. Nice to be going the other way this time though!

First meeting point: Thurrock Services - RM16 3BG @ 8.45AM

Second meeting point: Clacket Lane services - TN16 2ER @ 9.30am.

Remember to bring you're BBQ's and food and we'll all find somewhere to get food poisoning .

Hope to see a lot of you there!

Vicky.

Meh, I am clueless as to "the other side" :) So just assumed Dartford was the best....reckon Clackett lane is a better idea?

Dartford and Thurrock are pretty close.... Somewhere further southwest would help...

I'll definitely be in attendance though! Avec Yozza:evil:

Ok well if we choose clackett lane then going on Rob's suggestion.

Will get the green Rob to edit the post for me :)

Aside from the fact it appears almost no one is going .. why are you/we leaving SOOO early ? It's only 76 miles from Clackets, and it's only half hour to there, from Lakeside.

Are we going a fun route ?!

Lol did you forget your weetabix this morning! most people haven't noticed the convoy thread yet.

I just used aa route finder to get an idea of sat nav times. Times include 15mins for late arrivals but if you reckon we'll be there too early then feel free to suggest times as I'm pants at that kind of thing.

From Clacket Lane to Hayling Island, was that using the A3 or M3? Using the A3, Google Maps reckons about 1h 34m. Using M3, 2h.

If we're there early, doesn't really matter.
