Sat Nav Advice For Ipaq PDA

I have an Ipaq 3950 and want to use it for Sat Nav in my car.

What i would like is voice active sat nav and in car charging abilty.

What system does this Ipaq use and exactly what will i need to do this.

Any help appreciated..also a rough cost aswell please..new or second hand ...places to buy aswell...

tom tom 3 and a wired gps anttenna is the cheapest way

512 SD card can be had for £50 but u need a minimum of 256

mount £20 upwards

thats what i have got, but the 256mb memroy card, as the full map install is about 130mb, so you can easily get away with a 256mb card. I have and got many mp3s on it too.

Ebay have some great deals with kits, but i baught a reburished PDA and baught a tomtom3 software/antenna seperatly and saved £100 or so

ebuyer have got the 512 going for £50 note they are worth getting at the mo have been shrinking films down to 200mb

So let me clarify what i need and how this works (in my mind!)

I need a cradle and the GPS antennae...The power can be hard wired i assume for neatness and this will power the pda.

Of course the software is the pricey bit..any way around this guys???!!!!

Does anyone have any install pics for this and am i right so far?

I have a 3950.....visit Pdamods for info ...I use a Cf Rikaline one with a cig lighter charger and cradle...works a treat..cost 245 ish
