im sure a new *10 series tomtom could be made to fit in the satnav dash, as they're widescreen and look like the right size....

seriously tho, where can i get one from, ive been thinking about it for ages an thats exactly what i want, cant stand the proper holder, normally just end up putting it in that hole!!!!

Yep a custom fit jobby.
Im in the middle of trying to get a good guide to follow or possibly a way i can produce these at smaller cost for sale.
No damage to the dash at all apart from a hidden scre under the tray.
As mentioned all TomTom features work as normal and does not invalidate any TT warrenty.

The Surround for the screen itself is part number - 82 0006 9065
The Buttons that fit into the surround are - 82 0006 3062
I think the screen and backing unit all come as a one piece - 82 0000 1376 A
And the dashboard comes as one with the raised bit bonded into it I think as well. I have all the dashboard and bits for the sat nav lying in my room.

Got an old dash and ripped the covering from it. I didnt bother with a sat nav dash as ur limited to what you can do with it etc....
Best off making ur own base etc... u can choose what you want to put in there. Im trying to do one with a camera detector in there, an also one for the new *10 TomToms.
