Sat nav help please!

Slightly off topic, but here goes.

Does anyone know if a jap panasonic sat nav system will work in the uk?

I have heard rumors that it wont but nothing concreate.

Anyone help?

well the tuner on the radio wont
and rds and things wont i dont think
the map disc will be wrong too


what system is it your looking at ??

cant see any reason why not, as long as it supports the english language, and map region ( i have a UK panasonic Sat Nav system)

Only description I have is panasonic DV200. Its just the dvd player and screen etc. I have had a quick look on the panasonic web site but couldnt find anything. Its come out of a jap import car.

dvd is region 2 in japan so thats ok
the dvd nav disc is 400 from pioneer so id imagine it may be similar from panasonic

Yeah, I noticed that. I think its the same one.

Just wondering wether the bloke who bought it last time actually recived it and couldnt get it working or that he just didnt pay for it because the seller couldnt confirm it would work.

I have sent him a mail asking wether it does support english, but no relpy as yet.
