Sat nav, TomTom etc.

I'm tempted to pop in and grab one on the way home tonight. I'm getting a bit sick of trying to drive while reading a sheet of paper, and it's hardly safe, so I figure it might come in handy.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't grab the cheapest TomTom unit? It won't get a great deal of use, and it doesn't need to do anything special.

The most I can ever see me needing will be regular maps for the UK and Europe.

Obviously I'll feel less of a man having it. lol

This is the best/cheapest one we offer at the minute, the alternative Garmin unit is good but we're having a few problems with Garmin units at the minute.

If you buy from halfords, and you buy a half price case/accessory with it, the member of staff gets a quid

Worth noting you get 60days to update it all for free so it has latest mappings on it etc.

If the staff member I deal with is cool, I'll buy a case as my good deed for the day. If she's fit I'll buy two. lol
