sat nav?

  Inferno 182 w/ Recaros ;)
i was flicking through the manual the other day and found out that there is a small section of the windscreen that isnt heat reflective, in the middle. it says that its for passes and such like, but would you be able to place a sat nav near there and get a signal?

Yeh your spot on, although, my Ipaq sat nat picks up enough signal through the side windows to mount it anywhere. When I had a road angel was more difficult to pick up a signal.

i work for a company who sell sat nav's www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk
and i try out various sat navs in my clio and nearly every one struggles to get a signal due to the heat reflective screen, best thing to do is get an external antenna then your sure to get a decent signal at all times. the tomtom go 300 would work sometimes but only for a short time.
