I am getting a sat nav for xmas =] just wondering if people have reviews on the best ones upto about £100. Lots of people seem to rate the Garmin ones over the Tom Toms.

i have a TOMTOM ONE XL and its pretty goood. was a little over your budget but im sure you could get the normal TOMTOM ONE for about the price your looking at? It hasnt failed me yet tbh and havent updated it or had to fix bugs through computer since i got it 12 months ago.

navman wins it for me everytime. Ive had tomtom and garmin, and its got to be navman. Garmin a close 2nd. I couldn't abide the tomtoms though. All top end units in comparison

I've got a navman F20 had it for around 18 months, bought for £120 at the time of sale and never let me down!

Garmin all the way, i used to sell sat navs where i used to work, they are better than Tom Tom, and im really surprised people rate Navmans, unless it was silly cheap id never buy one

I've got a Tom Tom One 3rd edition thinking you couldn't go wrong with such a well known brand. How wrong I was! I had problems with it out of the box with it crashing. It took lots of trial and error with updates to get it working. Works fine now with the exception of it goes flat very quick if not constantly plugged in and takes ages to charge back up. So I can't really recommend it.

Tomtom one v4 here, I got the optional traffic bit too. The unit alone can be had for around your budget.

TomTom one Europe, v cheap and has navigated me around Europe numerous times perfectly, ie 4 weeks through France, Spain & Italy earlier on this year ...

Anyone using new Tom Tom GO Live?? Is it worth it do you think??

Currently looking at TT GO Live 740 vs Garmin Nuvi 765 - any thoughts on either of these?
