Saturday Clay Day

Clayed me mum's Puma today. Only trouble was it was so hot that when I sprayed on the detailer it was instantly turning to steam! Eek! Got there in the end though (5 hours). If that's the Quik Detailer, I'd hate to see the slow one! Washed with Zip wax (that stuff is crappy - megs next time) last night then a thorough claying with megs quik detailer this morning, break for the football, more claying, followed by a coat of NXT polymer, and the wheels gelled with more megs stuff. Half killed me, what with the sunshine and all; sunburned and headache!

Whats the clay stuff do then ?

Removes all contaminents like tree sap, tar, greese on your car. Basically removes the protective layers you have on too so needs to be re-sealed again with polish and wax.

And makes the paintwork feel like glass.
