Save a Youtube clip?

Someone please tell me it is possible to save a youtube clip onto your computer, or even record the sound as an mp3?

There's plenty of websites where you just paste the youtube link and then just save the resulting file.

I use Realplayer to save clips to my computer. It saves them into Realplayers library as an .flv (flash) file, and its easy to convert to anything else. Works on pretty much anything... youtube, bbc, sky, redtube.. Simple.
