  Focus RS 277BHP phase 2
Hi i,m baz and live between nottingham and middlesbrough with my GF, i currently own a Phase 2 Ford Focus RS running 277 bhp but looking to sell her due to my GF hating driving it as its to hard core for her. I,m looking at potenianl replacements to the RS such as a nice Clio 182 in black or maybe push to a white 197 if the price is right. I have heard alot tho about the deprication of clios and that they can be very unreliable, so was hoping for some imput of you guys that actually own and run theses car and would i be dissapointed dropping from my RS to either car?

thanks in advance

baz

My mate has a Focus Rs with similar power- obiously it is faster - the 182 is just a little bit behind a standard one.

The clio does still feel quick inside though as it is smaller and you get quite a lot of feedback. Now is a good time to buy a Clio they are lower priced then ever before - my 182 is for sale at 5600 in the for sale section on an '04 plate with 42k on the clock, 11 month mot, tax until jan, and full renault service history. Got a few tasty mods too, but is still comfy with all the usual luxeries.

My renault has been 100% reliable in the time I've had it, but not sure all 172/182 owners can say the same.

Looks clean mate but i was more after a black/gold or the lighter blue model to be honest, love that sterring wheel tho, where did u get that from and is it easy to have the airbag light taken off as i,m guessing the electrical airbag curcuit won,t complete?
