Scared of going over 80 mph, after new toyo t1r tyres

  RB 182
Are these just a straight swap or on new alloys too? ie, have you switched from 16" 205's to 15" 195's for example?

40psi in the front is bad enough but 40psi in the back is dangerous lol

I always run my 182 and 172 at 32f, 29r but renault recommend 33f, 30r.

I never trust a garage to get it right so I would always check my tyre pressure myself afterwards.

Nothing to do with the tyres mate, i've only ever used Toyo T1Rs and never come across this scenario before, solid performers.

I never had any problems with T1R's either - I don't drive hard but holy-crap do we get some wet roads over here!
Had the set of T1R's on my 172 for well over a year now!

Check that your nuts, pressures (when tyres are cold), shocks & springs are all in good condition and you'll be grand :)

i woodnt put toyo t1r's on a car if toyo payed me £10 by the mile for having them, anything that company makes is complete budget garbage i lmao anytime anyone from toyo sez the word "perforance" closey followed by the word "tyre"

pretty much, better use wood be as a plant pot ;)

Afta u've dun th gardening you could bye a diksonareee - walk to da shop jus incase ;)

after all your comments, and a few said check your balance, it makes me wonder, if they did that correct, but from past experience in my old cars, if the balance was out in the wheels, it would like do a snake move when braking wouldnt it?

ill may ring them next week or summate, getting my cv boot kit, and brakes done next sat, the guy who is doing it, owns a clio 172 cup, and knows a few things if not alot about the clios, should i get him to have a brief look at the struts....

Most garage's always pump the tyres up far too much!

Get your mate to give the car a quick look-over next Sat and tell him what it was doing

In my experience t1r's are ok in the dry, crap in the wet. Px4's are poor regardless of the weather.
