Wow. Good find, difficult to epitomise financial hardship in images but some of those have encapsulated it perfectly

Particulalry the mum with her head in her hand for me.

As a set of photos they reflect the situation really well, but take any image on it's own and it means nothing, therefore none really sum up the recession imo.
