Schmidts photoshop request

Since my schmidts are starting to get a little ruined from the weather im going to get them refurbed soon then store them away, im unsure whether or not to change the colour of the centres though and since i fail at photoshop im having trouble choosing what to do.

So if someone could please help me out do in what ever colour you think might look good!
But im thinking possibly ford gun metal grey?
