scrap 172 cat - what's it worth?

I've got one I've cut out of my old exhaust, and had a sports cat welded inplace.

Just wondered what it's worth scrap, genuine renault item, local scrappy offered £25, do i rip his arm off or push for more?

Should get more than £25, Iv'e seen people get 50+

depends if its an original then yes £40+ if its a replacement then £25 is a good price scapyeards very in price and scrap value always go up and down.

give a few people that come round and take scrap cars that advertise in the local free adds they will normally give you a better price than scrap yards.

its definately an original, and if the scrap man wished to argue that point, it still has all of the renault badges / markings stamped into it.
