Scraping brakes

I seem to be having a lot issues with my rear brakes on my 172 cup scraping a lot. My brakes weren't working the best either so had them taken apart, cleaned and rebuilt by a specialist. They were ok for a few days but they've started doing it again. My brakes are working fine but the scraping is really bad. I took the car out the other day and did some hard braking which reduced it a bit but it'll just come back next time I drive the car.

Does anyone else have this? Also wondered if cleaning my discs with brake cleaner would help?

Are they rusty?

They are a little, but if i do some hard braking most of it comes off, the rear discs are fairly new

The rear pads do ride on the discs which is normal.

If they aren't rusted up then i wouldn't worry about it.

Handbrake is good for putting on the back brakes to clear rust off them
