Screech on start up

A high pitch screech, only happens when engines cold. It's not loud only noticeable if you know it's there and only recently developed. The noise lasts about 0.5 seconds.
Anyone have any ideas or similar issue?

It's your auxiliary belt, either your alternator bracket needs tightening, or you need the belt changing.

Yep, aux belt. Mine did it after I changed it, just needed nipping up.

If it isn't your auxiliary belt, it could be your starter motor. The solenoid could be a bit slow causing the teeth on the motor to grind against the teeth on the flywheel as it's retracting.
