Screeching noise when using full lock when cold

I tend to leave the car running for 5-10 mins before leaving in the morning to warm up.

When reversing out of the drive I need close to full lock. When turning the wheel there is often a squeaking / screeching noise. Only when cold, and only the first few turns of the steering wheel.

Any ideas what it might be?

Does the aux belt due a chnage sounds like typical issue with them and chnage the pas fluid etc.

Mine made a simalar noise to what your describing, and after taking it back to renault they made a small modification, i think they placed a small washer in the suspension spring cup and mine hasnt made a noise since. mine was done on warranty but i wouldnt think it would cost alot but its cured the noise as it sounded worse than it actually was.....
