people keep thinking when im tunin in car parks sharp im screeching my wheels. but im not! think it may be power steering pump or maybe the belt..

Fanbelt? They squeak like a b*****d when they go....especially at low speeds and seemingly in damp weather. Probably wrong though.

it seems to be only when i turn. at low speeds and it really does sound like my wheels are screeching round the corner

you sure its not the tyres, i used to get it all the time, got new tyres - problem solved.

Hve this on mine....REALLY LOUD, i see people mince when i mvoe about slow and park......but its like....im not doing anythign wrong!

Aarons Renault mechanic said it was the steering pump release valve...not looked, not botehred....might have a chat with him if Aaron can get some free time of him

so ben nothin to worry about majorly?? still dives/turns fine at slow speeds, and has nothin to do with higher speeds anyway... ???

oh and wheels and tyres a pretty much new, only half year old so they are fine

yea, mine works fine, its only when you hit the steering stop......might have a pop under the car to see if it is the belt......
