Screen video capture software?

If i wanted to make a tutorial for a computer program, instead of recording the screen i'd like one of those capture softwares.

What do I have out there that's free and easy to use?

wink will take screen shots and make a video of it, or an interactive flash page.

Fraps is the way to go indeed. It just sits in your taskbar and you can set a hotkey to activate the recording.

I've used CamStudio in the past (google it)

it's free and can make them up as Flash files for you
