Mate, the exact same thing happened to me and my first car. It was mine and my dad's project car, alot of time and effort went into it, never ragged around and was always cleaned regularly and serviced, basically kept absolutely mint! The time came to sell it, and as I had a 172 pretty much waiting for me I only felt slightly gutted, then when chatting to the YOUNG lad who bought it from me, explained he had wrote the b*****d off racing with a starlet turbo, I was proper choked up. He sent me the pictures of the bodywork mashed up! Dont think it was quite as bad as yours though buddy, but all the same, I know how ya feel and its not nice! Lucky no-one was hurt though
