search and delete thumbs.db

anyone know how to do this on xp? i have a shed load of directories i need to delete the thumbs.db from. ive tried a xp search but it doesnt find them? ive click the settings to show hidden and system files and i can manually find and delete them... but it takes too long!
any idea of a fast way?

it doesnt show up in a search.. thats my prob not even in a *.db* search etc

That's odd. I tried a similar search on my work PC and it produced several correct results.

odd... even if i manually browse to the directory i see it in then do ctrl f, and type it in it still comes up as an empty search
