Searching For A 1.6

Hello

I may be wanting to part ex my 1.2 for a 1.6 Clio, Y REG or above.
Hows the best way to search for garages, dealers etc?

The 1.6 is rarer than the 172 or the Cup.

Looked on Auto trader, but there wasnt much wanting to P/X and Im after black probably.

I thought my 1.4 was quite hard to find but 1.6 is a nightmare

I dont know, Ive just been through 10 pages on Auto Trader and not one new style clio with 3 doors thats 1.6, yet you want it black as well.

Well worth the effort though, 1.6 16v has cheap insurance and it goes really well

Where you from mate, Ive found top of Kent good for these sorts of Clios when I was looking for mine.

My girl has a 1.6 Dynamique on an 02 plate in platinum. It was very difficult to find. According to the Renault dealer that sold my 182 to me the 1.6 is simply not a popular choice from the engine range that are available on the Clios. I have no idea why as it is pretty nippy and relativley cheap to run as well. Best of luck!

I know how difficult it is! It took me nearly two years to find mine...because I was picky too. It had to be a 1.6 and it had to be blue! I wasn;t prepared to part with my money for anything less!!

Because the 1.2s are quite nippy,they were more popular. None of the dealers I went to had a 1.6 at all and you dont see many driving around either.

I found mine on autotrader earlier this year and bought it privately. But, because it took me so long to find, I had managed to save up more money and get a newer one than I had originally intended!

I bought a Clio 1.6 16v 3 weeks ago in black (brand new on 54 plate, only done 155 miles) because from what the dealer told me 1.6s are rarer than Clio 182s. I currently have seen more 182s around than 1.6 16v Clios.
