seat plug question

well today i started fitting the half leather seats to my cup (out of a 04 182) fitted well but ran into a problem.......

As you guys know the cup seats dont come with air bag and the 182 leather ones do, i can to fit the connectors under the seat, the grey block with the yellow connector fitted fine but theres another black on with a red square on it, i can get it to connect to the other black plug thats there.


Now the airbag light is coming on because its not connected:dapprove: anyone have any clue how to connect these plugs together, ive tried for ages now:lolup:

I bet these weigh a fair bit more than the cup seats.

With the built in Airbags


Just a shame the FF's never came with heated seats
By all means if you wish you can have a scan underneath my seats.

Its not the leather, its because they have built in airbags etc i think they weigh so much

one of the bolsters had been blown open by the air bad and there really are nothing mate, its a plastic case (like the size of a glasses case) with the airbag inside, theres not much differance in wieght, dont think im going to notice

I've just done the same job on my 182 Cup.I had this prolem...thought the connectors were bent...but they weren't.

Have a play with the red part of the female plug.I think l lifted one edge of it ...then when you plug back in it snaps shut.

ive sussed how to connect the two together, one of the plugs has a saftey cap over it, just unclips of and they connect


my passenger seat is of being repaired so when i get it back and plug it in i will let you guys know the outcome of this

And it was just as simple as a safety cap on the end.
